Chef Brian Henry founded the Lakefield Polar Fest Ice Sculpting Competition and has facilitated this event since 2004 in conjunction with the Lakefield Village Merchants. This annual event occurs on the first weekend of February to coincide with Polar Fest the Kawartha’s premier winter carnival.
